NMP consists of 2 teams and are responsible for PostNord Masters, i.e., PostNord Address Master (PAM), Business Location Master (BLOM) and right now also for Preference Register (PRE). They are responsible for both the development and maintenance. Our masters supports many other systems in PostNord environment with the data that is needed to be able to pick up and deliver our letters and parcels to the correct addresses and locations.

Ella is the production system for the logistic services in Sweden. It was developed as a complete business system for the former logistic business known as Posten Lättgods. The name coms from LA, where L stands for Lättgods (old name for logistic through post office) and A stands for Administration. This object was taken to production on 1992. It has around 100 application. And there are around 1000 tables in different database of which 500 are widely used.

Nordic Route & Scheduling - NRS has 3 deliverables from different suppliers; SWECO is a GIS expert team and developing the RPS solution (RoutePreparationService), Route Sequencing, in order to calculate an effective driving route mainly with known tasks to get an optimal driving route and to deliver a good ETA. We use Kafka as a stateless messages broker between the different system to communicate with each other. SWECO has also delivered components in different projects like MyBox/ Naerboks Booking Component, Digital stamps, NAIS, CPS and a lot of integrations. TCS maintains and develops the Operational Fleet Management & IoT solution. The solutions target is to reduce costs and environmental impact relating to Fleet management and operations by managing the vehicle fleet. This is achieved through the formalization and digitalization of fleet utilization processes, contributing to improved vehicle utilization. AMCS is developing and maintaining the Route Planner and Fleet Planner solutions. Route Planner manages Tactical planning addresses the capacity, resource needs and resulting area/route configuration. Fleet Planner manages operational planning routes for the daily operation.

NCM is a team in the IT department, and has the system that integrates with Tullverket (Swedish Customs Authority).
The developers of the system is a 3rd party company called Descartes.

Butterfly 2 Butterfly
Butterfly is a similar system as NCM, but for Denmark. Then integrate with the Danish Customs Authority, and are the ones that checks how much should be paid. They then update “Told Backend” with an invoice to be paid. NOC only has a “middleware” in Danish Customs, and fetch information from Told Backend’s endpoints. Told Backend has the NOPS integration. Told Backend is handled by TCS. Bodil can help with both Butterfly and Told Backend. Henrik has a good understanding of the whole Danish customs flow. Technical questions in Told Backend goes to Azim.
